Poco X7 5G Tipped to Launch Soon with Dimensity 7300 Ultra, 1.5K AMOLED Display
New Delhi: Poco is gearing up to launch the successor to its popular X6 smartphone, the Poco X7 5G. While an official launch date is yet to be announced, key specifications of the upcoming handset have surfaced online.
According to tipster Paras Guglani, the Poco X7 5G will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. The display is said to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It is also expected to come with TÜV Rheinland eye care certification.
Under the hood, the device is rumored to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor. This is a notable shift from the Snapdragon chipset that powered its predecessor, the Poco X6. The Dimensity 7300 Ultra is expected to deliver strong performance, with an AnTuTu benchmark score of 704,404. The phone is also tipped to offer up to 12GB of RAM. It includes 512GB of storage. It also has virtual RAM expansion capabilities.
The Poco X7 5G is expected to be impressive in terms of optics. It will feature a 50-megapixel primary rear camera. The camera will have OIS and 2x optical zoom. On the front, a 20-megapixel selfie camera is likely to be present. The device is also said to offer AI-powered photography features. These include AI Image Expansion, AI Film, and AI Erase Pro. These features provide enhanced photo editing capabilities.
To keep the lights on, Poco plans to equip the X7 5G with a 5,110mAh battery. This battery supports 45W Turbo charging. The battery unit is claimed to offer up to 1,600 charging cycles. Furthermore, the handset is rumored to boast an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, adding to its durability.
These specifications are not yet officially confirmed by Poco. They offer a glimpse into what the company has in store for its upcoming mid-range offering.
