Microsoft Expands Xbox Games to PlayStation and Nintendo in 2025

Microsoft will expand its game offerings to PlayStation and Nintendo, enhancing multiplatform accessibility in 2025.

Microsoft Set to Bring More Xbox Games to PlayStation, Nintendo in 2025

Microsoft is reportedly expanding its multiplatform strategy in 2025. It plans to bring more of its exclusive games to rival consoles from Sony and Nintendo. Last year, the company released select Xbox titles on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Now, it is preparing to offer bigger franchises. These will include the popular Gears of War series on these platforms.

A recent report from Windows Central cites industry sources. Titles such as Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II and Age of Mythology: Retold are slated to arrive on PS5. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition might also come to the platform. It suggests these games might also come to the anticipated Nintendo Switch successor this year.

This aligns with previous claims by industry insider NateTheHate. He predicted the arrival of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. He also predicted Halo: The Master Chief Collection would come to PS5 and the next-gen Nintendo console in 2025.

NateTheHate also suggested that Final Fantasy VII Remake would make its way to Xbox this year. Its sequel, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, is slated for an Xbox release in 2026.

Microsoft’s move to bring more of its exclusive titles to competing platforms reflects a shift in strategy. This approach aims to reach a wider audience and potentially accelerate the adoption of Xbox Game Pass across different platforms.
