Blinkit Now Delivers Xiaomi Smartphones and Nokia Feature Phones
Blinkit, the Zomato-owned quick commerce platform, has expanded its product offerings to include smartphones and feature phones. The platform has partnered with brands like Xiaomi and Nokia. It lists select models on its app. This enables customers to receive their new devices within minutes.
Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa announced something new on X (formerly Twitter). He revealed the addition of “best-selling” Xiaomi smartphones and Nokia feature phones to the platform. Currently, the Redmi 13 5G and Redmi 14C from Xiaomi are available for purchase. Additionally, the Nokia 105 and 105 SS feature phones are also available. This service is initially being rolled out in major cities like Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
Blinkit aims to enhance the purchasing experience. It collaborates with leading Indian banks. They offer no-cost EMI options through banks like HDFC, SBI, ICICI, Kotak Mahindra, and Axis. The company also plans to expand the range of available phones and partner brands in the near future.
This move by Blinkit builds upon its recent efforts to diversify its product offerings. This is the first time the platform has listed Xiaomi and Nokia phones. However, it has offered quick deliveries for other premium devices before. In 2023, Blinkit partnered with Apple premium reseller Unicorn to deliver the iPhone 15 within 10 minutes in select cities. Similar services were also rolled out for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and iPhone 16 in subsequent months.
Blinkit is expanding its product range to include smartphones and feature phones. This expansion aims to strengthen its position in the quick commerce market. It also provides customers with convenient access to a wider range of products.
