Asus unveiled the ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro gaming smartphones in November last year. Now, it appears the company is gearing up to launch a more affordable variant, the ROG Phone 9 FE.
Reliable sources have shared renders and specifications of the upcoming device with 91mobiles. These insiders revealed key details about its design and hardware.
Design and Display:
The ROG Phone 9 FE is expected to sport a sleek design, closely resembling its more powerful siblings. The renders showcase a device in a striking black color with a textured back panel for enhanced grip. The front features a flat display with a centrally aligned punch-hole for the selfie camera.
The device is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ Samsung Flexible AMOLED LTPO display with a smooth 165Hz refresh rate for buttery-smooth gaming experiences. The display offers an impressive peak brightness of 2,500 nits. It also supports 1,600 nits in High Brightness Mode (HBM).
Performance and Hardware:
The ROG Phone 9 FE is packed with impressive internals. It is expected to feature the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This is paired with a generous 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. This powerful combination should deliver exceptional gaming performance and smooth multitasking.
Camera and Battery:
For photography enthusiasts, the ROG Phone 9 FE is rumored to feature a triple rear camera setup.
