London-based consumer tech brand Nothing has officially introduced the Phone (3a) Series in India. This marks a significant upgrade in design, camera capabilities, and performance. The launch follows the success of the Phone (2a). The latest models feature optical zoom. They also have AI-powered computational photography and a Snapdragon processor for enhanced speed and efficiency.
Design and Display Enhancements
The Phone (3a) Series boasts an upgraded glass back panel. It has improved symmetry in internal structure. Additionally, it holds an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. The phones have the lowest carbon footprint of any Nothing smartphone to date, emitting just 51.3 kg of CO2e. Both models feature a 6.77-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and peak brightness of 3000 nits, ensuring better outdoor visibility.
Camera Upgrades with Optical Zoom
The Phone (3a) Series features Nothing’s most advanced camera system yet. It includes an upgraded 50MP main sensor. The series also has a Sony ultra-wide sensor. The Phone (3a) features a 50MP telephoto lens. It offers 2x optical zoom. The Phone (3a) Pro is equipped with a 70mm periscope zoom lens. It includes 3x optical zoom and 6x lossless in-sensor zoom.
Performance and Battery Life
The series runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Mobile Platform. This delivers 33% faster CPU performance. It also provides 11% better GPU efficiency. The phone also boasts 92% improved AI processing and supports Snapdragon Elite Gaming features. Battery life has improved with a 5000mAh battery that can last for two days. The charging speeds have been upgraded to 50W.

The Phone (3a) Series will be available via Flipkart, Flipkart Minutes, Vijay Sales, and Croma. You can also find it in other leading retail stores starting March 11. The introductory pricing starts at ₹19,999 for the base variant. Here are the pricing details:
