Samsung to Unveil Galaxy Z Flip 7 with Exynos 2500 Chipset This Year
Samsung is expected to launch its Galaxy Z Flip 7 later this year at a Galaxy Unpacked event. New rumors about the phone’s specifications have surfaced online. According to reports, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 could feature Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2500 chipset.
This would mark a departure from recent models, which used Qualcomm chipsets. A Korean publication reports that Samsung’s Mobile Experience Division will start mass-producing new foldable phones in May. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 production is expected to reach 240,000 units.
The Exynos 2500 chipset was initially planned for the Galaxy S25 series but was scrapped due to performance issues. If the leak is accurate, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 would be the first Samsung phone to use this chipset. It would mark the debut of the Exynos 2500 in a Samsung phone. It would be the inaugural phone with this SoC.
The phone is anticipated to launch in July alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Expected specs include a 3.6-inch cover display, 6.8-inch inner display, 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage. The phone may feature a dual rear camera unit and a 4,300mAh battery with 25W wired charging.
