Google Rolls Out April 2025 Update for Pixel Devices
Google has released its April 2025 update for Pixel devices, addressing various issues and security vulnerabilities. The update is available as an over-the-air (OTA) update for eligible devices.

- Google Pixel 6 Series: Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a
Key Fixes:
- Biometric Authentication: Fixes issues with fingerprint recognition and response under certain conditions
- Camera: Improves camera stability when zooming in or out in certain conditions
- Display and Graphics: Fixes screen brightness flickering issue when consuming content on OTT streaming apps
- User Interface: Fixes overlapping views on lock screen weather clock and issues with Pixel Launcher when creating or switching users
Security Patches:
- Critical Vulnerability: CVE-2025-26415 in Google Assistant subcomponent
- High-Severity Vulnerabilities: CVE-2024-56190 in Broadcom WLAN driver and CVE-2024-56189 in Modem subcomponents
The update is rolling out to devices globally, with build numbers BP1A.250405.007, BP1A.250405.007.B1, and BD4A.250405.003 for global models.
