Nvidia Unveils GeForce RTX 5050 for Budget-Conscious Gamers
Nvidia has launched the GeForce RTX 5050, its latest entry-level graphics card designed for desktops and laptops. This new GPU succeeds the GeForce RTX 3050 and offers improved performance and features.
Key Features:
- GPU Specifications: The RTX 5050 features 2,560 Blackwell CUDA cores. It also includes 5th generation Tensor cores and 4th generation ray tracing cores. The GPU has a peak clock speed of 2.57GHz.
- Memory: The desktop version comes with 8GB of GDDR6 video memory, while the laptop variant features more efficient GDDR7 memory.
- Performance: Nvidia claims the RTX 5050 is up to 60% faster than the RTX 3050. It delivers over 150fps with DLSS 4 in modern titles.
- AI Performance: The card supports up to 421 trillion operations per second (TOPS) for on-device AI features.
