Apple Releases iOS 26 Beta 6 Update for iPhone
Apple has rolled out the iOS 26 Beta 6 update to developers. It is also available to beta testers. This release comes a week after the fifth developer beta. The update, with build number 23A5318c, brings subtle changes, including:
- New Ringtones: Six new ringtones, variants of the Reflection tune, including Buoyant, Dreamer, Tech, Pop, Reflected, Surge, and Little Bird.
- Liquid Glass UI: Refined Liquid Glass effects in toggles, Lock Screen, and navigation bars, enhancing the overall interface feel.
- App Animations: Faster app launch and close animations with a slight bounce effect.
- Camera App: Classic Mode is now the default setting, with the toggle removed.
- Introductory Video: A new video explains the Liquid Glass UI.
- Preview App: Larger and repositioned buttons for creating new documents and scanning.
The update focuses on refining the user experience, with improvements in performance and stability. Apple is expected to release the public version of iOS 26 in September, coinciding with the launch of the iPhone 17
