Airtel Offers Relief to Users in Extreme Weather Regions
Airtel is helping its prepaid, postpaid, and broadband users. They are focusing on regions impacted by severe weather in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh.
Key Benefits
- Prepaid Users: Receive a three-day extension on expiring plans, along with unlimited calls and 1GB of data per day.
- Postpaid and Broadband Users: Get a three-day grace period on bill payments to ensure uninterrupted services.
Intra-Circle Roaming (ICR) Enabled
Airtel has enabled ICR in Jammu, Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh, allowing users to stay connected on any available network. This move follows the Indian government’s directive. Telecom service providers were instructed to enable ICR in Jammu and Kashmir until September 2.

The special measures are aimed at supporting users in regions severely impacted by extreme weather conditions, including floods and landslides.

Other major telecom operators, such as BSNL, Reliance Jio, and Vodafone Idea, have also been directed to enable ICR in the affected regions
