Asus ROG Xbox Ally X and ROG Xbox Ally Now Available in India
Asus has officially launched the ROG Xbox Ally X and ROG Xbox Ally in India. Both handheld gaming consoles are now available for purchase across online and offline platforms.
The devices were introduced earlier this month along with a new lineup of ROG accessories. The launch marks Asus’s latest push into the portable gaming market.
Both consoles are powered by AMD Ryzen Z2 series processors. They feature 7-inch Full-HD displays with up to 120Hz refresh rate, Radeon graphics, and Xbox-inspired ergonomics.
The ROG Xbox Ally X is priced at Rs. 1,14,990, while the standard ROG Xbox Ally starts at Rs. 69,990. Buyers can purchase them at Asus and ROG Exclusive Stores, Asus Hybrid Stores, Vijay Sales, and authorised Asus partners. They are also available online via the Asus e-store, Amazon, and Vijay Sales.
Asus also introduced several new ROG accessories. The ROG Ally Dock DG300 will go on sale from November 11, priced at Rs. 7,999.
The Ally Travel Bag BC3004 ROG Slash Sling Bag 4.0 and ROG Xbox Ally (2-in-1) Premium Case cost Rs. 4,999 and Rs. 3,999, respectively. The premium case will be available by the end of October.
The ROG Ranger Bag series includes the BP2701 ROG Backpack Black, BP2701 Cybertext Edition, and BP2800 ROG Ranger Backpack. It will also launch on November 11. The price will range between Rs. 4,999 and Rs. 6,999.
In terms of performance, the ROG Xbox Ally X uses the Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor. The ROG Xbox Ally runs on the Ryzen Z2 A. Both operate on Windows 11 Home. The Ally X features 24GB LPDDR5X memory and 1TB SSD storage. The Ally includes 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB SSD.
Both models feature Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 for connectivity. Ports include USB Type-C with DisplayPort and Power Delivery, a UHS-II MicroSD card reader, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.
The design focuses on comfort. It includes Xbox-inspired grips and full-size analog sticks. It also features ABXY buttons and HD haptics. There are six-axis motion sensors and ergonomic triggers.
Battery capacity differs between the two. The Ally X packs an 80Wh battery and weighs 715g, while the Ally includes a 60Wh battery and weighs 670g. Both come with a 65W charger and a stand included in the box.
With these launches, Asus aims to capture the growing demand for portable gaming in India. The ROG Xbox Ally series offers console-grade performance in a compact, travel-friendly form — making high-end gaming truly on-the-go.
