Huawei introduced the MatePad Edge tablet and the Watch Ultimate 2 smartwatch at its November 2025 event in China. The new tablet features a 14.2‑inch Flexible OLED panel with a 3,120 × 2,080‑pixel resolution and 264 ppi pixel density. It can reach up to 1,000 nits peak brightness and covers 1.07 billion colours with a P3 wide‑colour gamut. The device runs HarmonyOS 5.1 and is powered by up to a Kirin X90A chipset, 32 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage.
Meanwhile, the Watch Ultimate 2 sports a 1.5‑inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED screen with 466 × 466 pixels, 310 ppi and up to 3,500 nits brightness. It is driven by the Kirin W80 SoC and runs HarmonyOS 6.0, while remaining compatible with Android 9.0+, iOS 13+ and older HarmonyOS versions.
Both products will be sold in China in two colour options each. The MatePad Edge will be available on November 25 in Space Gray and Moonlight Silver. The Watch Ultimate 2 will appear on November 28 in Sea Blue and Sky Black. There is also a new Watch Ultimate Design colourway, which is priced separately.
Pricing starts at CNY 5,999 (about Rs 76,000) for the base 16 GB + 256 GB tablet. It rises to CNY 12,999 (about Rs 1,64,000) for the top‑end 32 GB + 2 TB model. Soft‑light variants are listed at CNY 7,299 and CNY 9,999. The Watch Ultimate 2 is priced at CNY 6,499 (about Rs 82,000) for Sea Blue. It costs CNY 7,499 (about Rs 94,000) for Sky Black. A Purple Gold edition of the Watch Ultimate Design costs CNY 24,999 (about Rs 3,15,000).
The MatePad Edge includes a dual‑rear camera (50 MP f/1.8 + 8 MP f/2.2) and a 32 MP front camera, six speakers, dual‑band Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, USB‑C, and a 12,900 mAh battery. The Watch Ultimate 2 adds an optical heart‑rate sensor, ECG, barometer, temperature sensor, depth sensor, and supports Bluetooth 5.2, Wi‑Fi 6, NFC, GPS and satellite messaging. It carries 20 ATM + IP68 + IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.
Huawei’s launch highlights its focus on high‑refresh, high‑brightness displays and deep integration of its hardware and software ecosystem. The devices are expected to strengthen Huawei’s position in the premium tablet and smartwatch markets in China.
