iPhone 16 Sees Major Price Drop in India
Apple launched the iPhone 16 in India in September 2024. It was part of the company’s 2024 smartphone lineup. After the global launch of the iPhone 17, the iPhone 16 price fell. The drop was nearly Rs. 10,000.

On Croma, the iPhone 16 base 128GB model is Rs. 66,990. It was earlier listed at Rs. 69,900. The 256GB model is Rs. 76,490. The 512GB model is Rs. 99,900.
Croma offers Rs. 4,000 instant discount. The offer is valid on IDFC First Bank, ICICI Bank, and SBI credit cards. With this, the effective price is Rs. 62,990. Customers can save up to Rs. 6,900. The same discount applies to low-cost EMI plans over six months.
Availability
Apple discontinued the 256GB and 512GB variants after the iPhone 17 launch. Croma appears to be selling leftover units. The phone is available in multiple colour options.
Specifications
The iPhone 16 has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display. Peak brightness reaches 2,000 nits. It features Ceramic Shield protection. Dynamic Island is included.
The phone runs on Apple’s A18 chipset. It has a six-core CPU, five-core GPU, and a 16-core neural engine. Cameras include a 48MP main sensor and a 12MP ultrawide lens.
