Vivo Y31d Teased in Vietnam With 7,200mAh Battery, IP69+ Rating and Military-Grade Durability

Vivo has officially begun teasing its upcoming Y-series smartphone, the Vivo Y31d, ahead of its launch in Vietnam.
The company revealed key design details. It also showcased durability-focused features through a teaser on Facebook. This happened shortly after the phone appeared on the Eurofins certification database.

Vivo recently launched the Y31 5G and Y31 Pro 5G in India. However, early reports suggest the new Y31d variant may not reach the Indian market.

Massive Battery and Fast Charging

The teaser confirms that the Vivo Y31d will pack a 7,200mAh BlueVolt battery, with a rated capacity of 7,060mAh.
This is one of the largest batteries seen in the Y-series.

The smartphone is expected to support 44W fast charging, allowing users to quickly top up despite the massive battery size.

Built for Extreme Durability

Vivo is positioning the Y31d as a highly rugged mid-range device.

The phone is confirmed to feature:

IP69+ dust and water resistance
SGS 5-Star Premium certification
MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability compliance

This combination makes the Y31d one of the most durable smartphones in its segment.

Out of the box, the device will run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

Design and Camera Layout

The teaser also reveals the phone’s design.
The rear panel features a textured patterned finish with a distinctive squircle-shaped camera module.

A circular ring light

Although Vivo has not officially disclosed camera specifications, leaks suggest the phone could be powered by the Snapdragon 685 chipset.

Expected Launch Timeline and Availability

According to tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), the Vivo Y31d may launch in January 2026.
He also claims the phone may skip an India launch, with availability currently confirmed only for Vietnam.

Vivo has not yet commented on additional regions.
