Samsung’s Brain Health Feature: Revolutionizing Dementia Detection

Samsung will launch its Brain Health feature at CES 2026 for early dementia detection using biometric data.

Samsung to Unveil Brain Health Feature at CES 2026, Aiming Early Detection of Dementia

Samsung is reportedly preparing to introduce a major new healthcare innovation. It is called Brain Health and will debut at CES 2026. This innovation focuses on the early detection of cognitive decline and dementia. It uses data collected from smartphones and wearable devices.

The company will showcase the service. This is according to South Korean publication Chosunbiz. It will be displayed in a dedicated experience zone at La Tour, Wynn Las Vegas. Visitors will be able to see the technology working in real time.

How Samsung’s Brain Health Service Works

The Brain Health feature is designed to analyse multiple biometric and behavioural signals, including:

  • Voice patterns
  • Sleep data
  • Gait and movement
  • Daily activity metrics

Using these inputs, the system can detect subtle changes in cognitive function and automatically alert guardians if abnormalities are found.

After assessment, the service will reportedly recommend personalised brain training programmes to help improve and maintain cognitive health.

Part of Samsung’s Vision for Continuous Healthcare

Samsung views Brain Health as a core pillar of its broader “continuous healthcare” strategy, which integrates:

  • Early detection
  • Prevention
  • Daily cognitive support

The company has completed internal development of the service. It is now conducting clinical validation in partnership with medical institutions. This is to ensure medical accuracy and reliability.

Expansion of the Samsung Health Ecosystem

The Brain Health service will join Samsung Health’s expanding suite of health tools, which already include:

  • Blood pressure monitoring
  • ECG readings
  • Sleep and stress tracking
  • Heart rate and movement analysis

These features are supported across devices such as Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Ring, and the Samsung Health app.

AI-Powered Devices to Debut Alongside Brain Health

At CES 2026, Samsung will also unveil several new AI-powered home appliances, including:

  • Bespoke AI AirDresser
  • Bespoke AI Laundry Combo
  • WindFree Air Conditioner
  • Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra robot vacuum

The company will further expand its home audio portfolio with Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 Wi-Fi speakers.

A Strategic Shift Toward Preventive Healthcare

With Brain Health, Samsung is strategically positioning itself. It is at the intersection of consumer electronics, artificial intelligence, and preventive healthcare. This market is expected to grow rapidly over the coming decade.

If successful, the service could redefine how everyday technology supports long-term brain health and early disease detection.
