Razer Enters AI Devices Market With Project Ava, an AI-Powered Holographic Companion, at CES 2026
Gaming hardware giant Razer has officially stepped into the artificial intelligence (AI) devices segment.
At CES 2026, the California-based company unveiled Project Ava. It is a futuristic AI-powered holographic desktop companion. This device is designed to merge virtual intelligence with physical presence.
According to Razer, the new device aims to bridge the gap between virtual assistance and real-world companionship.
Razer Project Ava: What Is It?
Razer describes Project Ava as an “all-in-one AI companion.”
It combines a voice-based AI chatbot with a physical holographic display. This combination creates what the company calls a “digital partner that lives right alongside the user.”
The most striking feature is its miniature 3D digital avatar. It responds in real time to voice, movement, and on-screen activity.

However, gaming remains the device’s primary focus.
