Oppo Reno 15 Series Launched in India With Premium Cameras and Fast Charging

Oppo unveiled the Reno 15 Series 5G in India on Thursday, succeeding the Reno 14 lineup from 2024. The series includes four models: Oppo Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, Reno 15 Pro Mini, and Reno 15C.

The Reno 15 Pro Mini 5G debuts in India as a new compact option. All devices run Android 16-based ColorOS 16.

Pricing and Availability

The Oppo Reno 15 5G starts at ₹45,999 for 8GB + 256GB. Higher variants are available at ₹48,999 for 12GB + 256GB. The top variant costs ₹53,999 for 12GB + 512GB.

The Reno 15 Pro 5G and Pro Mini 5G begin at ₹67,999 and ₹59,999, respectively. Sales start January 13 via Flipkart, Amazon, and Oppo’s online store.

The budget-friendly Reno 15C 5G costs ₹34,999 (8GB + 256GB) and ₹37,999 (12GB + 256GB), available in February.

Reno 15 Pro and Pro Mini Highlights

Both Pro models feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

The Reno 15 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch full-HD+ LTPO AMOLED display (120Hz, 1,800 nits peak, Gorilla Glass Victus 2). The Pro Mini offers a compact 6.32-inch 1.5K LTPS AMOLED screen with similar refresh and brightness, protected by Gorilla Glass 7.

Camera setup includes a 200MP primary sensor with OIS, 50MP ultra-wide (116° FOV), and 50MP periscope telephoto (3.5x zoom, OIS). A 50MP selfie camera supports 4K 60fps HDR video.

Batteries measure 6,500mAh (Pro) and 6,200mAh (Pro Mini), with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging on the Pro. IP68/IP69 rating, in-display fingerprint, and X-Axis haptics complete the package.

Reno 15 and Reno 15C Specs

The standard Reno 15 features a 6.59-inch LTPS AMOLED. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and can achieve 1,200 nits of brightness. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. It is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and comes with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Its triple camera: 50MP main (OIS), 50MP 3.5x periscope, 8MP ultra-wide, plus 50MP front. A 6,500mAh battery supports 80W charging.

The Reno 15C targets affordability with similar core features adjusted for the price segment.
