Samsung Galaxy S26 Series: Key Features Revealed Pre-Launch

Samsung Galaxy S26 series, featuring satellite connectivity and Snapdragon chips, launches on February 25.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series FCC Listing Reveals Key Features Ahead of Launch

Samsung Galaxy S26 series moves closer to reality.

The company’s upcoming flagships just appeared on the US Federal Communications Commission website. This FCC listing confirms several exciting connectivity upgrades.

Three models received certification. They carry FCC IDs A3LSMS942U, A3LSMS947U, and A3LSMS948U. These likely represent the US variants of Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra.

All three phones support advanced satellite connectivity. They enable Supplemental Coverage from Space (SCS) and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN). So users can make basic calls and send messages even without cellular towers.

The lineup embraces satellite features through Skylo technology. However, this capability may stay limited to select regions initially.

Connectivity gets a major boost overall. The series includes Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) for faster speeds. Bluetooth LE stays onboard too. Additionally, NFC and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) support appear confirmed. Wireless charging (WPT) remains part of the package.

Every model runs on Snapdragon chipsets. FCC details point to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy variant. This custom chip powers the entire trio.

Network support covers everything modern. Phones handle 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, and full 5G NR. They work across sub-6GHz and mmWave bands seamlessly.

Rumours suggest a big reveal soon. Samsung plans to unveil the Galaxy S26 family at Galaxy Unpacked. The event falls on February 25. Devices should hit stores in March.

Design leaks add more excitement. Galaxy S26 Ultra reportedly features built-in magnets. It offers a massive 6.9-inch M14 QHD+ CoE Dynamic AMOLED display. Moreover, six colour options await buyers.

The standard Galaxy S26 packs a compact 6.3-inch screen. Galaxy S26+ steps up with a 6.7-inch QHD panel.

Samsung clearly pushes premium connectivity this year. Satellite support joins UWB, Wi-Fi 7, and top-tier performance. These upgrades position the S26 series strongly against rivals.

Expect more leaks before the big event. The February launch feels very close now.
