Oppo Find N6: Key Features and Launch Details

Oppo has confirmed the launch of its Find N6 foldable smartphone. The company will introduce the device in China during March. However, Oppo has not revealed the exact date yet.

Leaks on Chinese social media platforms have shared key details. These reports highlight upgraded displays, powerful hardware, and a large battery. Early hands-on images show slim bezels. The phone features a flat metal frame. The inner display appears nearly crease-free.

The outer display measures 6.62 inches. It offers 1.5K+ resolution. The BOE Q10 panel supports Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid, and HDR10+. It provides a 1Hz to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate with 8T LTPO technology. Peak brightness reaches 1,600 nits globally. Manual brightness hits 800 nits. The screen uses Pulse DC-like dimming at higher levels and 2160Hz PWM dimming at lower levels.

The inner foldable screen spans 8.12 inches. It delivers 2K+ resolution. The Samsung E7 panel supports the same HDR formats. It also offers a 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM dimming at lower brightness.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset powers the device. It pairs with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for smooth performance.

Photography receives a major upgrade. The triple rear camera setup carries Hasselblad tuning. The main sensor is 200 megapixels with a 23mm lens, f/1.8 aperture, and optical image stabilisation. A 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens uses a 15mm focal length and Samsung JN5 sensor. A 3x telephoto lens features a 70mm focal length and f/2.7 aperture. The system includes a second-generation Danxia lens.

The battery capacity stands at 6,000mAh. It uses third-generation Glacier Battery technology. The phone supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Additional features include a Shanhai communication chip. It offers super linear dual speakers and an infrared remote control. For durability, Oppo uses a titanium alloy dome hinge. The device carries IP56, IP58, and IP59 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Tipster Digital Chat Station shares color options. The Find N6 may arrive in orange, titanium, and black. It features customisable buttons. The crease control has improved significantly. The foldable display stays nearly flat even after long-term use.
