Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 17 in India. The company also introduced the Xiaomi 17 Ultra alongside it. This flagship model features Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Engineers built the processor on a 3nm architecture.
The phone first debuted in China last September. It carried a massive 7,000mAh battery there. However, global versions, including the Indian model, come with a 6,300mAh cell. It supports fast wired and wireless charging. Additionally, Xiaomi equipped the device with a Leica-tuned 50-megapixel triple rear camera system.
Xiaomi 17 starts at Rs. 89,999 for the 12GB RAM plus 256GB storage variant. The 12GB plus 512GB model costs Rs. 99,999. Buyers can choose EMI options from Rs. 9,999 per month for nine months. The phone arrives in Black, Ice Blue, and Venture Green colors. Sales begin on March 18 through Amazon, the Xiaomi India website, and Xiaomi retail stores.
