Android users can now run PC games more easily on their Pixel phones. A new emulator update brings better support for Pixel devices, especially the Pixel 10.
The latest version of GameNative, v0.9.0 (pre-release), adds initial support for the PowerVR GPU. This GPU is used in the Tensor G5 chipset inside the Pixel 10. As a result, users can now play many Steam games on their Pixel 10 phones more reliably than before.
Previously, most Android emulators mainly supported Adreno GPUs found in Snapdragon processors. Pixel phones with different GPU architecture often received limited support. However, this update changes the situation and fills the gap for Pixel users.
With this new version, players can enjoy popular Steam titles such as Stardew Valley and Hades directly on their Pixel 10. Moreover, the emulator now works better with desktop modes like Samsung DeX and similar features from other brands. Users can also connect a mouse and keyboard for improved navigation.
