Vivo Unveils X300 Ultra at MWC 2026 with Advanced Imaging Focus
Vivo showcased its upcoming flagship smartphone, the X300 Ultra, at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 on Monday. The company positions this device as its top-tier model. It places strong emphasis on superior imaging performance and premium hardware specifications.
At the Barcelona event, visitors spotted the X300 Ultra inside a SmallRig video cage. The setup featured a massive Zeiss telephoto extender kit. This accessory significantly boosts the phone’s zoom capabilities. Reports indicate the kit, called the 400mm Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2, delivers up to 17x optical zoom equivalent. As a result, the handset achieves long-range photography similar to dedicated mirrorless cameras.
The teleconverter attaches securely through a dedicated circular mount system. This mount integrates directly into the SmallRig cage. The cage provides better grip, extra accessory points, and improved stability for handheld shooting. Additionally, a compact LED panel light sits on the top cold shoe. The entire assembly rests on a stabilised grip or gimbal-style handle. Overall, the design closely resembles the previous model. It features a large circular camera island centered on the rear panel.
Vivo confirmed the global launch of the X300 Ultra through its official international social media channels. The company announced this right after the MWC showcase. While pricing and exact availability details remain undisclosed, the global rollout promises wider market access. This marks an improvement over some earlier Ultra models with limited regional distribution.
The X300 Ultra joins the Vivo X300 series. This lineup already includes the standard X300 and the X300 Pro. So far, Vivo has not shared any information about availability in India.
