Poco C81 and Poco C81x Launched in India
Poco has introduced two new budget smartphones in India. The company launched the Poco C81 and Poco C81x on Thursday. These models target price-sensitive buyers who want good performance and large batteries.
Pricing and Availability
The Poco C81 starts at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. Meanwhile, the Poco C81x is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB RAM + 64GB storage version.
Both phones will go on sale on April 27 at 12 PM exclusively on Flipkart.
The Poco C81 comes in three colours: Elite Black, Ice Blue, and Sunset Gold. On the other hand, the Poco C81x is available in two shades and skips the Sunset Gold option.
Key Specifications
Both smartphones run on the same octa-core Unisoc T7250 chipset. They offer smooth performance for daily tasks.
The Poco C81 features a large 6.9-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 800 nits brightness. In comparison, the Poco C81x has a 6.88-inch HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and 650 nits peak brightness. Both screens carry TÜV Rheinland certifications for eye comfort.
For photography, the Poco C81 offers a 13-megapixel dual rear camera setup. The Poco C81x comes with a single 13-megapixel rear camera. Both models include an 8-megapixel front camera.
Battery life is a major highlight. The Poco C81 packs a massive 6,300mAh battery, while the Poco C81x has a 5,200mAh battery. Both support 15W fast charging and 7.5W reverse charging.
Other Features
The phones include side-mounted fingerprint sensors, IP52 dust and splash resistance, and expandable storage up to 2TB. They also support 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.2.
With affordable pricing and decent specifications, the Poco C81 series strengthens Poco’s position in the budget smartphone segment in India. These models are ideal for students and first-time 4G/5G users who need reliable daily performance.
