HP Launches OmniPad 12 Tablet in India
HP has introduced its new OmniPad 12 in India. The company designed this versatile device for first-time PC users, students, and professionals.
Users can easily switch between tablet and laptop modes. The detachable keyboard makes this possible. Moreover, the device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Google’s Android operating system. It features a large 12-inch touch display.

HP claims the OmniPad 12 delivers up to 18 hours of battery life on a single charge. This makes it ideal for long study sessions and workdays. As a result, users stay productive without frequent charging.
Pricing and Availability
The HP OmniPad 12 starts at Rs 48,999 in India. It will go on sale from June. Customers can purchase it from HP’s official online store, Amazon, Reliance Digital, and HP World stores. The tablet comes in a stylish Denim Blue colour option.

The OmniPad 12 boasts a 12-inch 2K display with 1,200 x 2,000 pixels resolution. It offers a 16:10 aspect ratio and supports up to 90Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the screen delivers up to 400 nits brightness for clear viewing.
Under the hood, the device uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon SM6475Q processor. It includes 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS storage. Users can expand storage further via microSD card. Furthermore, the tablet features a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
Productivity Features
HP provides a full-size detachable keyboard with a soft mica silver cover. It connects through POGO pins and includes an HP Imagepad for smooth navigation. Moreover, the device supports Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6E, and a USB Type-C port. It also comes with quad speakers and DTS:X Ultra audio support.
Battery and Design
The tablet packs a 31Wh lithium-ion polymer battery. It supports fast charging with a 33W adapter. The tablet measures thin at 7.3mm and weighs 600 grams. When attached with the keyboard, the setup weighs 650 grams.
