GTA 6 Extended Look on Netflix May Feature Three Episodes
Rockstar Games has kept quiet about its upcoming extended look at Grand Theft Auto 6 on Netflix. The studio and the streamer have shared no details on runtime or content. An alleged regional Netflix page listing has now offered some clues. The page for Grand Theft Auto 6: An Extended Look reportedly suggested a multi-episode format. Netflix later updated the page and removed the references.
A Reddit user noticed episode listings on the Netflix Portugal page. The page showed placeholders for the GTA 6 premiere. Screenshots, later shared by GameRant, listed three episodes. Their runtimes appeared as 23 minutes and 37 seconds, 24 minutes and 41 seconds, and 18 minutes and 29 seconds. The total length exceeded one hour.
If accurate, the extended look could follow an episodic structure similar to a Netflix series. Rockstar Games may present in-depth footage of gameplay and story. The program could also include a behind-the-scenes feature about the game’s development. Hour-long gameplay showcases remain rare, however. The listing may simply have been a site error on Netflix Portugal. The authenticity of the Reddit user’s image has not yet been confirmed.
Rockstar and Netflix still have not released official details about the showcase. The Netflix page description states: “See the premiere of an extended look at Grand Theft Auto VI, the next evolution in the groundbreaking ‘Grand Theft Auto’ series, on August 27.” Users can set a reminder for the premiere.
Last week, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick described the extended look as “really worth watching.” Grand Theft Auto 6: An Extended Look will premiere exclusively on Netflix on August 27 at 3 pm ET. That equals 12:30 am IST on August 28 in India. The show will become available on Rockstar’s YouTube channel six hours later. GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series S/X on November 19, 2026.
