Poco prepares three more smartphone launches in India this year. The company focuses on the Poco X8 and Poco X8 Power models. Tipsters have shared expected details about these devices. However, Poco has not yet confirmed official launch dates or final specifications.
The brand recently introduced the M8x in India. It starts at Rs. 20,999 for the base 4GB + 128GB variant. Meanwhile, tipster Yogesh Brar stated that Poco has two remaining launches for 2026. He expects the Poco X8 and Poco X8 Power to arrive by early September. Both models will sit below the existing Poco X8 Pro in the lineup.
The current Poco X8 Pro 5G opened at Rs. 32,999. In addition, the Poco X8 Pro Max 5G began at Rs. 42,999. Brar also noted that the F series will begin Poco’s 2027 launches. Therefore, the X8 and X8 Power could mark the brand’s final smartphone releases of 2026.
Another tipster, Sanju Choudhary, shared details on the Poco X8 Power. The device may feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,840Hz PWM dimming. Peak brightness reaches 3,500 nits with 25 percent screen coverage. The panel uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and Wet Touch 2.0 technology.
The phone could run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. It pairs with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. A lower variant may use UFS 2.2 storage instead. Moreover, the device is expected to score above 1.15 million on AnTuTu. A massive 10,000mAh battery supports 100W charging and 27W reverse charging. The phone may also carry a six-year battery life rating.
On the camera front, the X8 Power may include a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 32-megapixel front camera complete the setup. The device measures about 8.68mm in thickness. It offers IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K protection ratings. Poco may provide four OS updates and six years of security updates.
The standard Poco X8 could use the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset. It may score around 830,000 points on AnTuTu. Its 6.83-inch AMOLED display also delivers 3,500 nits peak brightness. Wet Touch 2.0 and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 remain part of the package. The phone packs a 9,000mAh battery with 67W charging and 22.5W reverse charging. It shares the same six-year battery life rating.
The X8 may feature a 50-megapixel OIS main camera and a 16-megapixel front camera. In addition, it includes the same high IP ratings. Four OS updates and six years of security patches are expected. Hyper AI features and Xiaomi Interconnectivity complete the software side.
