iQOO Sets September 29 Launch for Pad Ultra Gaming Tablet
iQOO has confirmed the launch date of the iQOO Pad Ultra. The Android tablet will debut with the iQOO 16 smartphone. Official teasers now show its design, colours, and main gaming features.
The China event is set for 29 September at 7pm local time, or 4:30pm IST. iQOO shared the date on Weibo. The tablet will arrive in Ender Black and Star Armour Silver. Pre-reservations are already open on iQOO’s China site, JD.com, Douyin, and Tmall.
Official images show a square rear camera module. That island holds a single camera and a ring-shaped LED flash. iQOO also confirms a built-in PC-grade cooling fan. The fan is meant to control heat during long gaming sessions.
The company teases an 8.8-inch display. Weight is listed at 298g. Dedicated accessories are part of the plan. These include a dual-sided stretchable gamepad clip and an e-sports rear clip.
OriginOS 7 will ship on the tablet. iQOO says the software adds system-wide AI tools, Blue Heart Little V Pro Mode, custom themes, and new lighting effects.
Some hardware details remain unofficial. Reports still point to a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and an Adreno 850 GPU. Battery capacity is rumoured to exceed 9,000mAh. A Geekbench listing this month used model number iPA2691. That entry showed 16GB of RAM and Android 17.
iQOO has not announced India pricing or a global sale date. For now, the confirmed news is the China launch on 29 September, the two colour options, the active cooling fan, and the joint debut with iQOO 16. Full specifications should follow at the event.
