Vivo X Fold 6 May Join October 6 India Launch Lineup
Vivo is set to widen its India portfolio next month. The company has already confirmed the Vivo V80 and Vivo S2 FE for the first week of October. A tipster now says the next foldable flagship may arrive as well.
The X Fold 6 is already on sale in Vivo’s home market. A global launch window was earlier confirmed. That timeline raises the chance of an India debut beside the two October phones.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav puts the India date on October 6. That would match the confirmed V80 and S2 FE event. Vivo has not officially added the foldable to that stage.
Price talk remains unofficial. Early leaks place the X Fold 6 between Rs. 1,29,999 and Rs. 1,59,999. Those figures are estimates only. Official pricing should appear at launch.
Speculation follows the China model. The inner screen may be an 8.02-inch AMOLED panel. The cover display may be a 6.51-inch AMOLED. Both screens are expected to run at 120Hz.
A 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super chipset is the rumoured engine. Yadav also claims 12GB of RAM and storage up to 512GB. Colour options in the leak are Prism Black and Nebula Teal.
Battery capacity is said to be 7,000mAh. Charging rumours list 80W wired and 40W wireless. OriginOS 7, based on Android 17, is expected out of the box. Dust and water ratings may include IP58 and IP59.
The rear camera leak points to a triple setup. A 200-megapixel main sensor with OIS would lead. A 50-megapixel ultrawide and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto would complete the module. Inner and outer 20-megapixel cameras are also rumoured for selfies and calls.
None of the foldable details are official for India yet. Vivo has only locked the V80 and S2 FE for October 6. The X Fold 6 remains a strong rumour until the company says so.
