Infinix Unveils GT NX Controller and Cooling Dock
Infinix has launched a new GT NX gaming accessory line. The set includes the GT NX Controller and the GT NX Station. The company says the pair can turn a smartphone into a portable console. The accessories are built to work with GT-series phones.
Infinix announced both products in a Thursday press release. The controller targets low-latency play. The dock targets heat, ports, and bigger-screen use.
The GT NX Controller uses a glass touchpad. Infinix calls it the first pixel-level FPS precision touchpad on a mobile gamepad. It aims to improve shooting-game aim. It also supports swipe and mouse-style input. A three-chip layout cuts delay. Two chips sit in the left handle. One chip sits in the right handle. The company claims millisecond-level connection for FPS and MOBA play.
Battery life is rated above 22 hours on one charge. Haptic feedback has Low, Medium, and High settings in the XArena app. Mapping mode can match vibration to a specific game. A laser-textured grip is meant to reduce slip in long sessions.
Play styles vary. Users can clamp a phone, play on a desk, or use one hand. Mapping also lets people play titles that lack native controller support.
The GT NX Station is a multi-use dock with TEC active cooling. Infinix says that cooling helps during heavy games. The dock can mirror a screen or extend it. Dynamic RGB lighting is included.
A 9-in-1 port layout covers most connections. It offers HDMI, RJ45 Ethernet, two USB-A ports, a USB-C host link, extra USB-C, USB-C PD input, a microSD slot, and a 3.5mm jack. Pass-through charging through USB-C PD can power the phone during long sessions.
Together, the controller and dock push Infinix’s GT line beyond the handset itself. The pitch is simple: keep the phone, add console-like controls and a cooler, wired base.
