Xiaomi 18 Pro Max and Oppo Reno 17 5G Receive Thailand Certification
The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max and Oppo Reno 17 5G have received certification from Thailand’s NBTC. The approvals suggest both phones could arrive in global markets soon. Their listings confirm model numbers and 5G support.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav shared the details on X. The NBTC database lists the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max as model 2611FPNFAG. It lists the Oppo Reno 17 5G as CPH2975. Both devices carry approval in Thailand. The listings also identify China as the country of manufacture.
The certification confirms that both phones support 5G, 4G LTE, 3G and 2G networks. However, it does not reveal further specifications. It also does not indicate exact global launch timelines. Neither Xiaomi nor Oppo has announced official launch dates yet.
Meanwhile, earlier leaks have pointed to differences in the global variants. Reports suggest the global Xiaomi 18 Pro Max and Xiaomi 18 Pro may carry smaller batteries than their Chinese counterparts. They may also carry higher price tags. The models previously appeared on the Geekbench AI database with Android 17 support.
Xiaomi introduced the 18 Pro Max and 18 Pro in China last month. The Pro Max features an 8,500mAh battery. The Pro model includes a 7,000mAh cell. The Pro starts at CNY 5,999, or roughly Rs. 86,000. The Pro Max begins at CNY 6,999, or roughly Rs. 1,00,000, for the base 12GB + 256GB configuration.
The Oppo Reno 17 5G has also surfaced in a recent leaked hands-on image. The image shows a flat rear panel and a square camera module. The module appears to house three rear cameras along with an LED flash. Oppo may launch the Reno 17 series in China in November. The phones are expected to run Android 17-based ColorOS 17. The lineup could debut in India in early January 2027. However, the Pro variant is unlikely to launch in the Indian market.
