Huawei FreeBuds 7i: Key Features and Specifications
Huawei launched the FreeBuds 7i in China in September 2025. These earbuds feature an 11mm quad-magnet dynamic driver. They support a wide frequency range from 20Hz to 40kHz.
Additionally, they offer Dynamic EQ, personalised audio profiles, spatial audio, and head tracking. For noise control, the earbuds include Intelligent Dynamic ANC 4.0 technology. This system provides up to 28dB of full-band active noise cancellation. They also support Awareness Mode and Voice Mode.
Users enjoy Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. The earbuds allow dual-device connection, automatic switching, and pop-up pairing. They work smoothly with Android, iOS, and Windows devices. Some advanced features require EMUI 10 or higher.
Huawei equips the FreeBuds 7i with three microphones and a bone-conduction microphone. AI-powered noise reduction helps maintain clear voice calls even in noisy environments up to 90dB. Touch and gesture controls make operation easy. Users can swipe to adjust volume, tap to manage playback and calls, or use nod gestures to accept or reject calls.
The earbuds pack 55mAh batteries each, while the charging case holds 510mAh. Without ANC, they deliver up to 8 hours of playback and 35 hours total. With ANC enabled, the figures reach up to 5 hours and 20 hours respectively. A quick 10-minute charge provides up to 4 hours of playback.
Each earbud weighs about 5.4g. The charging case weighs around 36.5g. Both carry an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Huawei FreeBuds SE 4: Key Features and Specifications
Huawei introduced the FreeBuds SE 4 in global markets in August 2025. These earbuds come with a 10mm dynamic driver and support up to 24dB ANC. They include four EQ presets and support SBC, AAC, and mSBC codecs.
The ergonomic design uses data from over 10,000 ear canal samples for a comfortable fit. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.4, low-latency transmission, seamless switching, and automatic reconnection.
For calls, the earbuds use three directional microphones with noise reduction technology. Touch gestures allow users to control playback and switch between ANC, transparency, and off modes.
Battery performance stands out. Users get up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge and up to 50 hours total with the case. With ANC on, these drop to 7 hours and 35 hours respectively. A 10-minute charge offers up to 4 hours of listening time.
Each earbud weighs 4.3g and carries an IP54 rating. The charging case weighs 36g.
