Unannounced Xiaomi tablet details have appeared online. The device carries the model number 2612CRPFFC on China’s MIIT site. A Weibo tipster then shared more hardware claims. These reports still need official confirmation.
The leak points to the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro. Digital Chat Station says the tablet uses a 12.5-inch LCD panel. The screen may refresh at up to 144Hz. Resolution is said to stay at 3.2K, or 3,200 x 2,136 pixels.
That display would be larger than the Pad 8 Pro screen. The current Pad 8 Pro uses an 11.2-inch LCD. Therefore, the next model may grow in size without a jump in pixel count.
The same tipster names a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip. The processor is described as a 3nm part. Battery capacity is listed at 11,000mAh. By comparison, the Pad 8 Pro carries a 9,200mAh cell. Charging is said to stay at 67W.
Xiaomi has already confirmed two other devices. The 18 Fold foldable is due in early September. The Pad 9 Pro Max tablet is also slated for that window. The standard Pad 9 Pro has not received the same official date yet.
Last year’s Pad 8 Pro remains the closest benchmark. It came in 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM options. Storage went up to 512GB. The rear camera was 50 megapixels and could record 4K video at 60fps. A 32-megapixel front camera handled 1080p video at 30fps. Four speakers and Dolby Atmos completed the audio setup.
Another listing has also appeared. A Xiaomi Pad 9 model numbered M656BA showed up on China’s 3C site. The same source linked that number to the Pad 9. That model is rumoured to use a 9,720mAh battery and an octa-core Snapdragon 8-series chip.
These figures remain leaks and certification traces. Xiaomi has not published a full Pad 9 Pro spec sheet. Official details should follow when the company stages its September launch.
