iQOO Pad Ultra Debuts in China With 165Hz Display and Gaming-Focused Features
iQOO has introduced the new iQOO Pad Ultra in China. The tablet arrives alongside the iQOO 16 smartphone and iQOO Gaming Headset. The company is targeting gamers and entertainment users with premium hardware and advanced gaming tools.
The iQOO Pad Ultra starts at CNY 6,499 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. Meanwhile, higher-end versions with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage are also available. Buyers can choose between Star Silver and Twilight Black color options. Sales are scheduled to begin on October 5, while pre-orders are already open.
The tablet features an 8.8-inch 2K AMOLED display. In addition, it supports a 165Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals. The screen can reach up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness and offers a touch sampling rate of up to 500Hz for responsive gaming.
Powering the device is a flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite-series processor. Furthermore, iQOO includes its self-developed Q4 gaming chip. According to the company, this chip enhances graphics quality and improves gaming performance in supported titles.
To maintain stable performance, the tablet uses a five-layer cooling system. It also includes a large active cooling fan and a heat dissipation area exceeding 23,000 square millimeters. As a result, the device is designed to handle demanding gaming sessions more efficiently.
For gamers, the iQOO Pad Ultra offers several specialized features. These include frame interpolation, super-resolution technology, HDR enhancement, ray tracing support, and Q-flex touch controls. Additionally, the tablet includes dual X-axis linear motors and 4D vibration effects to create a more immersive experience.
The device carries a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. Meanwhile, a four-speaker audio setup delivers enhanced sound quality. The audio system also supports spatial sound effects and voice enhancement during calls and gaming sessions.
A 9,020mAh battery powers the tablet. Moreover, it supports 66W wired fast charging. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port.
Beyond gaming, iQOO has added productivity features such as WPS support, multi-device connectivity, and content creation tools. The tablet weighs about 298 grams and measures just 5.74mm thick.
To further enhance gameplay, iQOO is offering optional accessories. These include a dual-sided gaming clamp and the iQOO G1 telescopic controller, giving users additional physical controls for supported games.
