Xiaomi Raises Xiaomi 17T Price by Rs. 5,000 in India
Xiaomi has raised the price of the Xiaomi 17T in India again. Both storage variants now cost Rs. 5,000 more. As a result, the phone is more expensive just before the festive sales season. The new prices are already in effect.
The 12GB RAM + 256GB model now lists at Rs. 69,999. Earlier, buyers could get this variant for Rs. 64,999. Meanwhile, the 12GB RAM + 512GB model has moved from Rs. 69,999 to Rs. 74,999. These revised prices appear on Xiaomi’s online store and on Amazon India.
Xiaomi first launched the 17T in India in June. At that time, the 256GB model started at Rs. 59,999, and the 512GB model started at Rs. 64,999. With this latest change, the phone now costs Rs. 10,000 more than its launch price. In July, the company had already added Rs. 5,000 to both variants. The phone remains available in Black, Blue, and Violet.
Xiaomi has not issued a formal public announcement about the hike. However, tipster Sanju Choudhary shared an official-looking document on X. The note appears to inform retail partners in India about the revision. According to that communication, the new prices took effect on October 1.
The Xiaomi 17T uses a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protects the panel. Inside, a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset runs the phone. Xiaomi pairs it with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The rear camera setup carries Leica tuning. It includes a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. A 32-megapixel camera sits on the front. Power comes from a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery. The phone supports 67W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging.
