Motorola One Design and Specs Leak via Certification Site and Geekbench

Motorola has not launched a One series smartphone since the One Ace in 2021. In India, the Motorola One Fusion+ was the last handset released under the short-lived One series in 2020. Now, a new model tagged as the “Moto One” has appeared on a certification site. While the listing does not reveal full hardware specifications, it provides a detailed look at the phone’s design. Additionally, the same handset has reportedly shown up on Geekbench, revealing some performance details.

As spotted by Android Treasure, a new handset tagged as the Motorola One has surfaced online. The phone first appeared on the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) website as the “moto one.” Its model number is listed as XT2771-1, and the device reportedly supports 15W Qi wireless charging. The WPC listing does not provide further technical details, but it does show the phone’s design.

The Motorola One appears to feature a slightly different design compared with the brand’s current lineup. On the front, it shows a quad-curved display with thin borders on all sides. A hole-punch selfie camera sits at the top of the display, and a fingerprint indicator appears near the bottom, suggesting an under-display fingerprint reader. The top edge has only one microphone opening, while the bottom includes a SIM card tray, a second microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. The volume rocker and power button are placed on the right side, and a Moto AI button sits on the left. Around the back, the camera module has a gradual protrusion with four cutouts. From the images, there appear to be three camera lenses and one LED flash.

The Geekbench listing carries the same model number as the WPC entry. The Motorola XT2771-1 scored 2,109 in single-core and 8,586 in multi-core tests. According to the listing, the phone runs Android 16 and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The chipset features 2 cores clocked at 3.80GHz and 6 cores clocked at 3.32GHz. The tested unit has 12GB of RAM.

The Motorola One Fusion+ launched in India in 2020. It was one of several smartphones that featured a motorised pop-up selfie camera. The phone had a 6.5-inch FHD+ display and ran on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset. It offered 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB. The rear camera setup included a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro lens, while a 16-megapixel camera handled selfies. The device packed a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging.
