iPhone 18 Pro Series Arrives in Burgundy, Black, Silver and Glacier
Apple launched the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at its recent Surprise and Shine event. Both phones use Apple’s in-house A20 Pro chipset. They also include the C2 modem.
The Pro models carry a triple rear camera. A 48-megapixel Fusion primary sensor leads the setup. That main camera also uses a variable aperture.
Apple has changed the colour lineup this year. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max come in four shades: Burgundy, Black, Silver, and Glacier. These options are available in India and other global markets.
The new palette differs from last year’s iPhone 17 Pro series. That lineup used Cosmic Orange, Silver, and Deep Blue. Black returns after staying out of last year’s Pro range. Silver remains familiar and uses a matte, textured finish with colour-matched rear glass.
Glacier and Burgundy are the new finishes. Glacier sits between light blue and silver. Burgundy replaces Cosmic Orange. Apple calls it an all-new finish. The shade looks like a deep red and stands out in this year’s range.
Apple has also introduced matching accessories. New Silicone Cases, TechWoven Cases, Crossbody Straps, and FineWoven Wallets accompany the iPhone 18 Pro series.
In India, the iPhone 18 Pro starts at Rs. 1,64,900 for the 256GB model. The iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at Rs. 1,79,900. Pre-orders open on September 12. Sales begin on September 18.
The iPhone 18 Pro has a 6.3-inch display. The Pro Max uses a 6.9-inch display. Both models feature a smaller Dynamic Island and run iOS 27.
Battery claims differ by size. Apple says the iPhone 18 Pro can last up to 24 hours on a single charge. The Pro Max is advertised at up to 30 hours.
