Key Features and Specifications

The Bravia Theatre Trio targets owners of large-screen TVs. It uses dedicated left, centre, and right speakers. Therefore, it creates a wider soundstage and clearer dialogue. When paired with the Sub 9 and Rear 9, the system can generate up to 24 phantom speakers.

The Bravia Theatre Bar 7 stands as a premium soundbar. It features nine speaker units with up-firing and side-firing drivers. Moreover, it includes four passive radiators. The soundbar supports Dolby Atmos, IMAX Enhanced, and Sony’s 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology. As a result, users enjoy a highly immersive experience.

On the other hand, the Bravia Theatre Bar 5 offers a 3.1-channel setup with a wireless subwoofer. It supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X formats. Additionally, it uses Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround technologies. The system also includes Voice Zoom 3 for better dialogue clarity when connected to compatible Bravia TVs.

The Theatre Sub 9 delivers powerful performance with a 600W amplifier and dual opposing drivers. The more affordable Sub 8 uses a 300W amplifier with similar high-quality construction.

Finally, the Rear 9 and Rear 8 wireless speakers enhance surround sound effects. Sony also introduced Bravia Direct Connect. This feature allows select Bravia TVs to connect directly to subwoofers and rear speakers without a soundbar. Consequently, users gain more flexibility to build custom home theatre systems.

Overall, Sony delivers impressive audio innovation with the Bravia Theatre series. The new products combine premium sound quality with convenient wireless design.
