Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Leaks Point to a 200MP Quad Camera and February 2027 Debut
The Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra is still about four to five months from launch. Leaks and rumours are already circulating. The series is expected to include the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27 Plus, and Galaxy S27 Ultra. The Ultra is being described as the camera and specification leader. The details below come from leaks, rumours, and speculation. Samsung has not confirmed them.
The rumoured rear setup is a quad camera. Reports point to a 200MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP telephoto camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera. The front camera is tipped to be 12MP.
The display is said to be a 6.9-inch AMOLED 2X panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to use Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage as a starting configuration. Tipster Digital Chat Station has said that processor will use a 2nm process.
Other leaks say the handset will be 7.9mm thick and will support the Galaxy S Pen. A 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with at least 65W wired charging is also rumoured.
Samsung usually launches its S Ultra models in early February. The S27 Ultra is therefore tipped for February 2027. One leak places the 12GB + 256GB variant in India between Rs. 1,41,999 and Rs. 1,46,999.
Prices, cameras, and the launch week remain unofficial until Samsung announces the series.
