Asus Announces Price and Availability of Asus Pad in India

Asus has revealed the price and availability of the Asus Pad in India. The Android tablet first launched at Computex 2026 last month. It will go on sale from August 6.

The tablet will be available in two RAM and storage configurations. It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset. In addition, it carries a 9,000mAh battery. It also features a 12.2-inch display with 2.8K resolution.

Asus Pad Price in India

The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs Rs. 45,990. Meanwhile, the 8GB RAM + 256GB model is priced at Rs. 49,990.

Sales will begin on August 6. Buyers can purchase it on Flipkart, Asus eShop, ROG Stores, Reliance Digital and authorised retail partners.

Moreover, the company confirmed up to 12 months of No Cost EMI. EMI starts at Rs. 3,833 per month.

Asus Pad Key Specifications

The Asus Pad runs on Android 16. It features a 12.2-inch 2.8K OLED display. The resolution is 1,840 x 2,800 pixels. It has a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen-to-body ratio reaches 92 percent.

Typical brightness stands at 600 nits. Peak brightness goes up to 2,000 nits. The display covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. It is also TÜV-certified for Low Flicker and Low Blue Light. Furthermore, it supports the Asus Pen 2.0 and newer styluses.

An octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset powers the tablet. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage options go up to 256GB of UFS 3.1. Users can expand storage up to 1TB via a microSD card.

Camera, Connectivity and Battery

The Asus Pad has a 13-megapixel rear camera. It also carries a 5-megapixel front camera. The front camera supports face unlock.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 and a USB Type-C port. The tablet features four speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Available sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope and hall sensor.

A 9,000mAh lithium-polymer battery powers the device. It supports 45W USB Type-C fast charging. The tablet measures 271.1 x 182.4 x 6.5 mm. It weighs 523 grams.
